Cowboys & Aliens
This is the story of alien invasion on a small town of America and the battle of a few humans that happen to be Wide West cowboys against these aliens. The film is set in 1873 and we see that the town of Absolution is being ruled by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (played by Harrison Ford). Everything happens on his order and no one in the town goes against his orders. It so happens that once a stranger with clouded and mysterious past stumbles into the town of Absolution. We come to know nothing about his past since he himself does not have memory about it and only one thing seems to be a slight and faded indication of his past life: a mysterious mark of a shackle that he bears on his left wrist. But he is not welcomed in a very friendly way by the town of Absolution since the people there already have troubles of their own to cope with. But these troubles seem to be pretty small compared to what is about to happen. The town of Absolution gets invaded by strange kind of aliens. The town gets plunged into fear and chaos ensues as a result of this invasion. Strange light starts showering from the sky and people start getting killed. When all hope fades away, the townsfolk look towards that stranger for help, who seems to possess some extraordinary powers. The stranger on the other hand, who previously had no recollection about his past, eventually starts remembering the past incidents of his life. Now he, along with the chief of the town, has to fight against the alien invaders and safe the town from utter destruction. This seems to be a very interesting and thrilling sci-fi action flick. The cast of the film is perfectly chosen with Harrison Ford and Daniel Craig leading the wild action. Jon Favreau has a pretty good experience in the field of direction and he has recently earned fame by directing both installments of the Iron Man series and this film is expected to be another noteworthy addition in the existing list of films. You can download Cowboys & Aliens from torrents and watch it online on several forums but you would have to wait for that for a while since the release date is set to be 29th July. Engaging plot, good direction, top notch cast and interesting story – all these elements would certainly contribute toward the success of this film. But what the film actually has in store for the fans would only be revealed after it is released.
