Ice Age
The film tells us about the comic and adventurous tale of four friends: A sloth named Sid, A mammoth named Manny, a tiger named Diego and an acorn-loving squirrel named Scrat. They become friends after a series of comical incidents and decide to fight and service together in the extreme weather conditions that are about to start. The Ice Age has not yet completely approached and the weather conditions are changing due to which ice is covering the entire planet. So they decide to remain together and start traveling together to find some reasonable place to live. During their journey, they find a human kid which has been lost and is now on his own. So they decide to keep that kid with them and escort him safely to his parents where he belongs. The baby’s name is Roshan. They take the baby to the human camp but by then the humans have left. So they decide to keep him with them and carry on their journey. Eventually they find a cave in which they come to know about Manny’s past and his interaction with humans. Manny’s wife and kid were killed and after being reminded about his past, he comes cynical and irritated. Another character of the story is Soto, who is the leader of a Smilodon pride, a group of beasts. He holds a grudge against humans and wants to eat the baby of the chief of humans, and incidentally, this baby is Roshan. So Soto chases the four friends on their journey and eventually confronts them. Diego previously belonged in Soto’s gang but has now left it. So when Soto, along with his gang, attacks the four friends, Diego fights against him and stops him from killing his friends. During this process, Soto wounds Diego. Manny become infuriated with Soto and knocks him into a wall of rock. The rocks fall down over Soto and he is killed. Soon, the friends are able to return the baby to the humans and continue their journey toward the warmer areas. This was without a doubt one of the very best animated films of the year and proved to be a huge commercial success. You can watch Ice Age online at several places.
