Jeux d’Enfants

by Vlad Marin on July 28, 2011

The film ‘Jeux d’ Enfants’ involves eight year old Julien (played by Thibault Verhaeghe) and eight year old Sophie (Joséphine Lebas-Joly) meeting in the cutest of circumstances. The movie is amazing and if you have refrained yourself from watching it all this while, it’s high time that you download the movie online for free as soon as you get the opportunity. Jeux d’Enfants also present some wonderfully shot and edited still images that make for beautiful wallpapers. Sophie is seen bullied upon by her merciless classmates and as she struggles to pick up her scattered books and supplies, Julien appears, and, on her dare, comes to rescue Sophie, sending the school bus down the street driverless. The scene ends with the kids screaming, the driver running after the bus, and in all this turmoil, Sophie is left impressed. The film suggests that Julien and Sophie are meant to be together and the two kids end up defining their relationship as a sort of game and dare each other to carry out strange acts, which appear shocking to grown-ups and kids alike. Emmanuelle Grövold and Gérard Watkins display their decent enough acting skills as Julien’s mother and father respectively. Julien’s mother is battling with cancer and though the little child does not fully comprehend the severity of his mother’s problem, he finds it amusing when she says that she used to play the game herself when she used to be a little girl. Jeu d’Enfants is a movie that is divided into three sections – Game, Set, and Match. The kids gradually grow into adults and their game continues, though they develop a somewhat perverse love for each other. Marion Cotillard as the grown-up Sophie and Guillaume Canet as the adult Julien impart much color to the story of the film with their acting flair. The film deals with the side effects that these kind of games bring along as each player is hurt by the other’s actions, which in turn, invokes them to cause further wounds. Jeux d’Enfants brings forth a story of striking violence that can exist within a romance and it is generally used as a metaphor. So, what are you waiting for? You have got to know that this movie is a must-watch and if you have not seen it yet, download movies for free. Wallpapers are equally brilliant and are surely going to set your desktop screen on fire.
