Rango
Rango is basically a comedy film about an ordinary chameleon named Rango whose normal life is turned upside down when he accidentally ends up in a lawless town from the Wild West. He is taken to that town of Dirt by Beans, who is the daughter of a rancher. Upon reaching the town of Dirt, Rango presents himself as a tough and rough drifter, after using his abilities of improvisation. Soon after that he runs into an outlaw with the name of Bad Bill but before he could settle the score with him, he is attacked by a hawk who had attacked him previously as well. He tries to escape the Hawk and with sheer luck, kills the hawk. This makes him hero in the town and the mayor of the town appoints Rango as the new sheriff of the town. On the other hand, Beans observes that the water reserves in the town tank are much below the required level so she gets suspicious. She asks Rango to investigate the matter. The people of the town, however, are worried about something else. The hawk was the only reason that a famous outlaw named Rattlesnake was afraid to come to the town of Dirt, but now since the hawk was dead, he might return to the town and once again spread terror. However, Rango and Bean soon realize that the mayor of the city is behind the water fiasco. The mayor, upon seeing that they have known his secret, forces Rango to leave the city and kidnaps Beans. Rango wanders in a desert where he meets the spirit of the West. The spirit encourages Rango again and so Rango returns to the town of Dirt, where he overcomes his enemies as well as the mayor with the help of the spirit of the West and his own allies, and the people of Dirt celebrate after having gotten rid of all their troubles finally. Rango becomes their hero. This is a great animated film and certainly can be regarded as one of the finest animated films of the year. Great special and visual effects have been utilized in the film and a very well written plot has been executed with excellent direction.
