The film has a very fine editing by Emma Gaffney crafted with fantasy and contains many thrilling moments which emphasizes the viewer to get deep into the story line. This story is written in chronological order, starting from the Day 1, Tuesday to Day 24, Thursday. The storyline describes Robert Miller (Toby Kebbell), who’s a veteran soldier, is returning from the war in Afghanistan to his home in a violent decaying South London council housing estate, run by a gun-toting youth gangs. The gangs are led by a drug lord gangster, Ashley Thomas, who is interested in Miller working for him. Being an ex-army mate (Tom Brooke), Miller finds work in undercover surveillance. He is soon recruited by a couple of shady government operatives (Tony Curran and Brian Cox) for an undercover operation to keep these tabs on a network of suspected terrorist cells. As the story develop too much people into vans and generally, too many cars out scenes. The ending is really surprising, and was pretty left field, but on reflection, it’s a good quality detective sensing movie having a huge lot of war type environment. Generally, Hope uses the back drop of the derelict housing estate to great effect. The fight scenes are strong and technically realistic in nature, and part of this must be due to the fact that co-writer Bob Craft is a former member of the Parachute Regiment and 24 years in the service.
