The film ‘Transformers’ tells the story about the interstellar battle between the two groups Autobots and Decepticons which evidently brings devastation on the face of the planet Earth. Directed by Michael Bay, the film adapts Hasbro and Takara’s popular Transformers franchise into this tremendous science fiction action feature film starring some of the big names like Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Bernie Mac, John Turturro, Jon Voight, among others. Optimus Prime, the leader of the benevolent Autobots group narrates the story to the viewers about the destruction of their planet, Cybertron. This powerful alien race got divided into two independent groups – the Autobots and Decepticons and their fight with each other has been continuing for ages. The purpose of this battle has been to obtain Allspark, which is a cube that can bring ultimate power to the ones beholding it. Gradually, the Autobots sneaked it into the planet Earth’s surface and hid it in a location that will prove to be difficult to unearth. At the present time, the Decepticons have arrived on this planet after a lot of centuries and in order to save Earth, the Autobots must oppose them to overcome the probable misuse of the massive power by the Decepticons. The present batch of the Autobots do not exactly know where the Cube is hidden but as the audience finds out, it may be hidden in the unlikeliest of place. Meanwhile, Sam Witwicky (played by Shia La Beouf) who has just bought his first car finds out his connection the the history of the mysterious Allspark and thereby he becomes the partner of these humongous bio-mechanic creatures in their battle for the survival of mankind and an opportunity to return to their home planet.
